As my college roommate, Katie, used to say: "I'm a lying sack of shit."

Several days ago, I went on a massive purge session, eliminating my guestbook, my counter, and my webring affiliations, all in the name of insouciance: "I don't care who reads this; I'm doing this diary for me."

I'm such a goddamn liar: I care. Of course I care.

So I put my little rainbow counter back on. Innit pretty?
