S-S-S-Saturday Night...
Highlights of Saturday Night (because you're all just dying to know):
- The final Make Lisa Rich show. As most of you know, the luminous Miss Paula and I were the guest "artists" for said event, and true to form, we tarted it up real good. Mr. Robert Barringer, Esquire ("Bo" to his friends, "Bobo the Monkeyboy" to me) provided us with indescribably wee pink tank tops emblazoned with the MLR logo, which, upon the bust of your average 22-year-old indie rock chick, is probably legible. Stretched taut across my somewhat, er, "ample" 30-year-old bosom, the first and last consonants were buried somewhere in my armpits. You get the idea. I'm fairly certain there are pictures to be had of this spectacle; I just don't want to see any.
- Sitting at the bar, pre-show, watching "COPS" with Westbye, Kev, and most of the members of Major Major. Seriously, if I hadn't committed to making an ass of myself in a tank top, I would've been home watching "COPS," anyway. We watched in glee as Jacksonville's Finest pulled over and interrogated -- I swear to God -- Geddy Lee and Tonya Harding: "O.K. folks, we'll let you go if you can sing 'Tom Sawyer' backwards..."
- During the show, Paula smacked me on the ass with her tambourine. More than once.
