Since I'm not a writer, I'm trying to think of it this way: I'm a singer. I know I can sing pop/rock stuff well. Country rock, I knock it out of the park. But when I try opera...um...not so much. I can do it enough to fool a few people. But to me, it blows and I should just stop. All of my supportive friends would blow all the compliments up my skirt should I ever actually make an attempt at something operatic. But that won't make me good at it. That's my version of what you're saying. Having said that - as an uneducated non-writer who adores you, I would love to read it. But if you don't want to hand it over to the masses, I'll understand. But I'm still a fan.
