I do believe in spooks I do I do I DO...
I wuz on thuh teevee today, tellin' more spook stories.
A couple of things:
- In point of fact, Henry Jewett didn't found the Huntington Theatre Company in 1925. He founded the Jewett Repertory Theatre, which folded in 1930. The building suffered various indignities for a couple of decades before being purchased by Boston University in 1953. The Huntington Theatre Company established itself as the theatre company in residence in 1982. But Mr. Jewett is responsible for getting the place built, and - um - for haunting it for the last 78 years.
- Joyce Kulhawik is quite possibly the nicest lady I've ever met.
- I was chuffed that Joyce mentioned poor Peg Entwistle, a member of Jewett's company and one of the saddest stories in Hollywood. I told Joyce about her, and she seemed so fascinated that I was kind of surprised it didn't make the final cut in the actual interview, but then she managed to drop her in at the end of the piece.
- I'm actually not horrified by my appearance. I woke up that morning with a blazing zit on my chin. It's very, very, VERY camouflaged. I'm rather pleased about that.

Yeah, except that the whole experience just reaffirmed that I have absolutely ZERO interest in being on television.
Get plugged, talk for a minute, unplugged then plugged again, talk for maybe two minutes, get unplugged and then plugged.
Sort of like sex with someone you know you're probably never going to speak to again.

I saw it! Dude, you're impressive on camera. Poised and pretty and connected with the viewing audience.

Totally hot. That's what YEW ahhhh! Although I take umbrage, Lees. UMBRAGE I say! The past tense of 'hang' is 'hanged' in that sense of the word. It is right up there with "its/it's" in my peevy little book of anal retentive nitpickery, but there it is. UMMMM-BRAGE!

...and you know, as soon as I said it, I realized I was wrong, but really didn't want to bother with a second take.
Only bitchy queens like you notice that shit, anyway, yuh goddamn FAIRY.
