...as if I didn't need ONE MORE reason to move.

1) This happened not even fifteen feet away from where I cross Washington Street to get to the subway station.
2) This happened not even FIVE MINUTES after I was at that corner this morning.

Jesus H. September 1st cannot come quickly enough.

Of course, now NOBODY is going to come help us move.

Gunman rob check cashing store in Jamaica Plain

By John R. Ellement, Globe Staff

Two brazen gunmen robbed a check cashing store this morning in Jamaica Plain, forcing three employees into a bathroom while they grabbed an unspecified amount of cash from a safe and teller drawer, according to police and witnesses.

"They were putting guns right to their heads," said William Kilroy Sr., the owner of Forest Hills Check Cashing. "They made the girls open the safe at gunpoint."

Two female employees were in the shop on Washington Street at about 9:15 a.m., Kilroy said. Two men walked in, asked about sending money via Western Union, and pulled handguns, he said.

The owner's son, William Kilroy Jr., walked by the store while the women were being held in the bathroom. When William Kilroy Jr. didn't see anybody in the window, he got curious, and walked inside.

"The guy put a gun right in my face," William Kilroy Jr. said.

The gunmen forced him into the bathroom with the women and ran off with the money.

"They took every penny," William Kilroy Sr. said.

Could be worse. Could have happened where you're moving to. (Sorry about the grammar in the above sentence. Somedays, prepositions just get the better of me.)
